I had a Shield 45 M2.0 and it wasn't much larger than the 9/40 version. I always carried with the 7 round mag. I now currently have a Glock 30s and it is a bit thicker but with it's standard 10 round mag it's about the same grip length as my Shield and I get 3 more rounds.Any tac light that works with a full size glock will work with a compact glock. To me the 30 shoots just softer enough for you to tell it. I am actually more accurate with the 30, don't know why. A friend that is a firearms instructor said it's due to being aware of the shorter barrel and concentrating more on the sight picture..
